Obesity among children is increasing in many industrialized nations and Canada is no exception to this trend. Our research team, comprised of staff, faculty, and students at both the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria, aims to study the influences on childhood obesity in the school and home environments. Our goal is to understand what elements in the school and home environments impact children's physical activity and nutrition behaviours.
